I just did not buy this, because moms who have children over three years old told me that it is more difficult to push with older children. and It isn't best double stroller to fit in small car. Since I needed something practical and easy, I ended up choosing not to take Maclaren - although I love the brand, so much so that Valentina has the Single. What I liked the most about this cart is the wonderful size it has closed, besides being extremely light. Another positive point of the Techno (attention at the time of purchase, because there are several models) is that the hood has an extensive zipper that almost covers the child.
2) Phil & Teds Navigator Double
That was my second favorite! It has the width of a normal trolley: the larger child goes upstairs, best double stroller to fit in small car, and the smaller one is underneath. It is super safe and well known in Europe and the northern region of the United States, where parents do physical activity with their children in the cart. It was a suggestion from Laura, from EuroBaby, who lives in London and is a mother of two children (not twins), that is, she understands much of the subject! I was tempted to buy this one, and if I have a third child, it will certainly be my choice, since Valen will be bigger. I did not buy it, because the cart I chose won in order to carry the weight and height of Valentina.
The good thing about this stroller is that it is very versatile: you can use baby comfort, put the child in front or back, use as a single stroller ... It is also easy to close, has great wheels, very easy to push and a great size. I really loved it!
3) City Select by Baby Jogger
This is the same brand as I chose. It has several possibilities of using the seats and is also usable as a single cart. It turns out that most people who have a child over the age of three say that they get very heavy when pushing and turning. Also, I was able to observe in the park yesterday 3/4-year-old children well shrunk in it, due to the small size of the chair. And best double stroller to fit in small car. Again: it was not chosen according to my needs, but it is a very well-liked product here. And, for those who want a traditional wide cart, this is another option.
4) ABC Design
I could not see it live, only on YouTube - where, incidentally, it looked pretty good. But, as I said above, my second most wanted was Phil & Teds, so I did not even do much research on ABC. Anyway, I think it's cool to leave it to you as a suggestion.
5) City Mini GT by Baby Jogger
Lastly, the chosen one! The last will be the first, rs. I'm going to put into a topic the reasons why he was chosen, agreed?
With regard to comfort, this was the one that best behaved to Valentina (who still uses the cart a lot, even more here I'm alone - I need to make things easier, huh, people ?!)
It is a very easy push cart with two children of different ages, considering that the Valen is almost 17kg. It closes in a single movement, has a big bonnet and is super resistant. Here in the USA, it is the most found, both in a single and double configuration.
The cost-benefit of it is great, considering that it is a product that will last for a long time. Since I'm leaving it in the USA, I did not have to worry about the width of the doors, since everything here is wider: the doors of the house, the parks, the establishments, the streets. I have tried to pass it on different doors and it always worked; in some stores, is more difficult to handle because of the macaws.
Ease of cleaning: it is of a nylon type material and has no fabric, so it is very easy to clean.
Anyway, I'm loving my purchase, lol! The only point not so positive is the width, especially if you had to take it to the USA. But for those who have children of different ages, and a best double stroller to fit in small car and you can buy without fear. In the photo, it seems that Valen's head is uncomfortable, but when it leans, it fits right. In any case, if the child is uncomfortable, it is possible to remove the top part.
In addition, it has a basket underneath, the brake is in the hand and also found the suspension very good. For those who want to know more (not just about strollers, like anything else), put the name on YouTube and search: it's always worth watching the videos, they make it much easier. And opt for videos that show kids, not just the video from the store. Mothers' reviews are usually better and give a better idea.
Note: although in the photo the recline is in the middle, it rests totally. It's just that they prefer to sleep like that, as if they were in the car seat. If I leave them horizontal, they move and wake up.
